More Vitamins, More Hair
Many medical professionals report that hair loss and baldness is a result of a lack of vitamin B supplements. While Vitamin B is of course important to the diet, especially with its B3 niacin content for hair growth, Vitamin B6 is equally important because it contains much needed nutrients like biotin, magnesium, sulfur and zinc.
Other important vitamins are:
- Vitamin A - Also important for hair growth, to make sure to consume the right amount of vitamin A, include fatty acids in your diet. Examples of these are primrose, flaxseed oil and salmon oil.
- Vitamin E - Also important for hair growth, Vitamin E helps stimulate your bodies’ intake of oxygen plus helps improve your blood’s circulation. Your blood’s circulation helps with the growth of your hair as well as the circulation of the necessary vitamins throughout your body.
- Biotin – An added necessary vitamin for your hair growth is biotin. You can discover this essential material source in rice, yeast, green peas, oats, walnuts, soybeans and sunflower seeds. Some shampoos also boast this ingredient. Biotin in shampoo helps get into your root ends faster to help promote hair growth. However note that even though you use a shampoo that has biotin, you will still need to add into your diet the necessary vitamins and supplements as well.
Of course it goes without saying the before you begin adding any vitamins or supplements to your routine, you need to always consult with your doctor or other healthcare provider to get his or her opinion. There might be certain vitamins or supplements that you should not take, so you need to consult with your doctor first, and then make decisions afterwards. Doctors may have certain tests that must be done first and may need to take our family history and send in some blood work first. So do take a time out before beginning any new plan.
In summary, while many people fail to recognize the importance of vitamin B, studies show that vitamin B is indeed very important to hair growth. So those who partake of foods rich in vitamin B are more likely to maintain their hair growth.
